Live Sets Design
Ableton Live has become a fundamental tool for live performance. Electronic musicians, DJs, keyboard playes, loop artists and people employing backing tracks use Live to put their shows together.
For all of them I design personalized live sets, made100% according to each musician's needs.

1. PREPARATION
From creating instrumental parts live to manipulating pre-recorded sounds; from managing instrument banks to triggering tracks and samples, the possibilities are endless.
Thats why the first step consists in determining what each artist needs in order to evaluate how we are going to put together the set, keeping in mind the tools at each musician's disposal.
2. LAYOUT DESIGN
I present a first draft of a layout design detailing the disposition of all controllers and external instruments and the function assigned to each knob, buttoon and fader.
For this I always aim at designs that are minimalistic and intuitive, so it's easy to learn how to use, and we avoid the risks of being overwhelmed by too many options.
3. SOUND
In this step I prepare all of the audio source material: samples, stems, tracks and virtual instruments that shall be employed. I make sure that audio quality and levels are consistent, so there are no elements that can cause technical issues in the future.
4. LIVE SET
The fourth step consists of gathering all of the prepared material and integrating it intro the custom live set. This is designed according to the specifications of the layout that was previously developed with the client and approved by them.
5. MAPPING
Finally, the project is sent to the client and, if they require it, they are remotely assisted in the MIDI and KEY mapping, in order to finalize the connection to all the external controllers and gear.
